Unite against violence this week during WSU's annual Week Without Violence. The events are all free to participate in and help raise awareness for a great cause.

Paint Your Own T-shirt
Wilson Hall Rm 1A
You can paint your own T-shirt in privacy, then have it hung on the Clothesline. Over 700 shirts are featured.

Monday
Guest speaker Teri Jendusa-Nicolai
6:00 PM
CUB Auditorium
"Teri Jendusa Nicolai has survived the unthinkable. Six years ago, Teri Jendusa-Nicolai's ex-husband attacked her with a baseball bat, and left her for dead in an Illinois storage locker. Miraculously, 26 hours later she was found barely alive, and is here today to speak out and about Domestic Violence awareness."

WSU Police Face-to-Face Forum

Wednesday
Take Back the Night Rally and March
6 p.m.
Glenn Terrell Mall
It begins on the Glenn Terrell Mall and winds around campus, ending near the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. A short light vigil will follow the march to reflect on the effects of violence on the lives of victims, survivors, family, friends and the larger community.
