Missing home? Need a little slice of the West side? Or just bored and already read the Evergreen? Pick up The Stranger! It's Seattle's free newspaper, dedicated to a younger generation and always covering the issues other papers won't.
For those of you who haven't ever read a Stranger, be prepared for some in-your-face honesty. The Stranger will talk about anything and everything, leaving no comment left behind. Sex, drugs, alcohol and politics are always discussed, as well as other issues concerning the Greater Seattle area.
The Stranger is also the BEST palace to get information about upcoming events and concerts. They have entire sections dedicated to movies and music, with pages of concert and film listing. There are always a ton of restaurant/pub reviews too, in case you needed to know where all the good grub is.
