Make sure Dad is in top shape this weekend and attend the Health Fair before the football game. 

Have all your health questions answered by student pharmacists who can counsel you and Dad on diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heartburn awareness. Get you and your Dads blood glucose level tested, blood pressure measured, and cholesterol level assessed. 

And as part of their special heartburn awareness outreach, there will be free heartburn-free chili for visitors.

Free Board Games

The WSU Lutheran Campus Minstry is hosting a board game night! Bring a friend, a board game, and some snacks you have laying around for a night of fun, laughter, food and friends. 

It's a great new way to meet new people and it's free. 

There is free parking at St. Tommy's and in the lot to the North. Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like, leave when you need to.

(Though the event is hosted by LCM, there will be no religous service or study at the same time. This is just a fun event that all are invited too.)

WSU is going all out for its first Family Weekend! Activites include:
  • Have fun with inflatable toys, face painting, and games. 
  • Butch will be available for pictures 2:15-3:15 p.m. 
  • The WSU Women's Basketball team will be signing autographs  2:30-3:30p.m. 
  • You can register online (for free) to enter a contest for Cougar prizes. There will be giveaways throughout the event.
There will be concession stands full of family-friendly food and beverages for people to purchase like mini-hotdogs, Ferdinand's Grabbers, popcorn and Cougar Cheese.

Have a fun and FREE afternoon before heading to the game! Go Cougs!

Free Local Farmer's Market

Enjoy a little local culture and visit the Pullman Farmer's Market. Every Wednesday from now through October 27th local farmers will bring their bounty to the Old Post Office parking lot (one street up from Main St., by City Hall). Check out the fresh produce, herbs, plants, crafts, live music and more -while chatting it up with the locals.

Mayor Glen Johnson and Butch rally the crowd at a past First Down Friday.

Join Cougar fans downtown Friday night before the game for free live music, performances by the WSU marching band and WSU cheerleaders, chance to meet the athletes, and prizes! 

During the pep rally, Coach Paul Wulff will give a speech and athletes will sign posters for fans. And don't forget to snap a photo with Butch or with the "voice of the Cougs", Mayor Glen Johnson.  For the younger set, free games and inflatable fun for kids will be provided by WSU Athletic Marketing and Promotions. While there will be plenty of free activities throughout the night, First Down T-shirts  and a BBQ meal will be available for sale.

So start your Cougar Football Weekend early by cheering on the team with the rest of the city! It's fun and it's FREE. Go Cougs!

Super Spike 2010 - Free Vball Tourney, T-shirts, Prizes!

If you love playing volleyball and want to put a 6-man/woman team together, then attend the Alpha Gamma Delta & ASWSU sponsored Super Spike 2010 Volleyball tournament! You can register your team on Facebook. The winning team gets a grand prize and everyone gets free t-shirts (while supplies last!). There will also be a BBQ at the AGD chapter house after the tournament. Oh - and free music sponsored by KUGR! What an awesome FREE event. Because in the Palouse, everything is on the house!
