We are excited to announce that we will be having our first Undie Run to help collect clothing for homeless and women's battered shelters! The only entry for the run is the clothes you are wearing! We are excited to join in on this tradition that has been held at so many other campuses across the nation such as ASU, Layola Marymont and UW to name a few!

HOW EXACTLY DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE UNDIE RUN?
Step 1: Tell everyone you know and don’t know about the Undie Run
Step 2: RSVP for the event
Step 3: Choose your undie attire
Step 4: Choose your outfit to be donated
Step 5: Make sure not to donate your cellphone, iPod, wallet, keys, etc.
Step 6: Show up in your to-be-donated outfit, and then strip to undies
Step 7: Donate your clothing at the donation station (to be donated to local homeless and battered shelters)
Step 8: Enjoy the experience of the Undie Run

PLEASE NOTE: this is a CHARITY event. The primary purpose is for you to COME FULL CLOTHED, then DONATE YOUR CLOTHES off of your back. Feel free to bring more than the clothes off your back (bags of clothes, boxes of clothes, trucks full of clothes).

FAQs :

Is there a place where I can smoke drugs and drink?
This event is “on campus,” drugs and alcohol are not allowed at the event.

Is wearing undies optional?
There is no nudity at this event, but you can get creative, as long as it is appropriate. You are not required to strip down to participate in this event either. Please no thongs also.

Can I donate more clothing than I can wear?
It is encouraged that you donate as much clothing as as you can.

I am a broke college student; how much does the Undie Run cost to attend?

Go shawty, it's your 21st birthday, we gon' party like it's your birthday...Thanks to Palouse on the House's Facebook fans, we have found six Pullman bars that offer free drinks on your birthday! So for all you cool Pullman cats that don't have generous friends or are broke (like the rest of us), save a bunch of money by hitting up these bars and getting free drinks!

Please, be responsible and have a designated driver at all times. Please be careful at the amount of alcohol you intake, as there have been several incidents where individuals have died celebrating their 21st birthday from asphixation or alcohol-induced injuries, such as a recent case at the University of Idaho. Know your limits, space out your drinking, eat something, drink lots of water before/during/after use, and always have a designated driver!

Have a great time on your birthday, this time, for a little less moolah! Because in the Palouse, everything is on the house!

Free female-only rock climbing seminar

If you're female and you want to go to the free female-only rock climbing seminar, hosted by the Outdoor Recreation Center, then hop on over to the climbing wall in the Hollingberry Field House next Monday!

The seminar is free for those who have paid their UREC fees (which should be every full-time enrolled student). Learn the basics, or if you already know the basics, come to the seminar to advance your skills. Women That Rock usually have monthly trips, where women get to test their abilities and strength with the support of other women that rock! Check out the ORC website for more information.

If you love playing volleyball and want to put a 6-man/woman team together, then attend the Alpha Gamma Delta & ASWSU sponsored Super Spike 2010 Volleyball tournament! You can register your team on Facebook. The winning team gets a grand prize and everyone gets free t-shirts (while supplies last!). There will also be a BBQ at the AGD chapter house after the tournament. Oh - and free music sponsored by KUGR! What an awesome FREE event. Because in the Palouse, everything is on the house!
