SEB invites everyone to join them Tuesday night for a discussion on AIDS awareness, gay rights and the movie Milk.

Cleve Jones is founder of NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, which has memorialized over 80,000 Americans killed by AIDS. Jones was befriended by AIDS activist Harvey Milk in the 1970s and worked as a student intern in Milk's office after Milk was elected to the San Fransisco Board of Supervisors. After the assassination of Milk in 1978, Jones went on to co-found the San Fransisco AIDS Foundation in 1983, conceived the idea of the quilt memorial in 1985, and created the first quilt panel in memory of his friend Marvin Feldman in 1987.

Today Cleve Jones is an activist, author and lecturer passionate about raising awareness of AIDS. See him, speak with him, and watch a movie about his friend Harvey Milk on Tuesday night. Portions of the quilt will be on display in the CUB Ballroom Nov. 30-Dec. 2

I have not seen this movie yet, but have wanted to for a while. So here are the opinions of two kid-movie experts: my 7-year-old brother Jason and my 8-year-old sister Michelle. Jason loved the minions and Gru and now wants to become a "super villain just like Gru". He walks around the house quoting the minions and using his "shrink ray" on our cats. He didn't find any of it scary and cheered on Gru to the end. Michelle on the other hand loved the 3 girls -Agnes, the littlest one, is her favorite. Shelly found the carnival scene with the unicorn to be hilarious and is by far her favorite part. Both kids laughed until the end and are jealous they can't come to Pullman this weekend to see it again. My parents also found the movie to be pretty awesome and funny as well.

This is definitely a movie that has humor for both adults and kids, so I totally recommend it for all to see this weekend. As usual, the movie is free for WSU students and $2 for the public. I'll be taking my Dad for sure.

With a great cast (Will Forte, Val Kilmer, Kristen Wiig, and Ryan Philippe to name a few) and a plot based off an SNL skit, this movie should provide enough laughs to last the weekend. MacGruber (Will Forte) is called to action after a nuclear warhead falls into the hands of his arch nemesis Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer). Using his own unusual tactics -and leaving a path of destruction in his wake- MacGruber and his team of experts work to bring Von Cunth down.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but if it's as awesome as its shorter SNL counterpart then it's totally worth seeing in my book. As usual, it's free for WSU students and $2 for the public. Grab some snack from the vending machines or the dollar store before you go and enjoy a night of laughter and fun.

From the very first adventure Woody and Buzz embarked on the world was captivated by Toy Story. We all grew up with Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the Toy Story gang being our imaginary playmates and toys, as well as our favorite movie characters. It's been 10 years since we last saw Buzz and Woody. 10 years for Andy to grow up -10 years for us to grow up. What will happen to the toys when Andy goes off to college? All about new beginnings -for Andy and the toys- it's something all of us here at WSU can understand.  

Pixar does an amazing job of finishing the story and made sure no toy was left out. Filled to the brim with laughs, there are jokes that continue from the first Toy Story to jokes that are geared toward the adults in the audience. There's also plenty of action and drama as the toys try to figure out their future and get back to Andy. There is definitely something for everyone. A good ending for one of the best stories, I completely recommend for everyone to see it.

This is an awesome movie if you loved Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Get Him to the Greek is about Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) having to get strung out, constantly drunk, rocker Aldus Snow to the Greek Theatre to do a 10 year anniversary show. Of course Aldus wants to do anything and everything except go to the Greek. He thwarts Aaron's efforts every step of the way with his hilarious antics. I thought it was a great movie when I saw it in theaters, though the humor may be for everyone -and it can get a little slow in a couple of areas.

I saw this movie over the summer and it was pretty good. It's one of many in a slew of post-apocalyptic movies that have debuted recently, taking place during a nuclear summer. Eli (Denzel Washington) is on a mission to save the sacred book, while Carnegie (Gary Oldman) is out to use it for power. Parts of Eli's journey are slow and long, but the movie picks up after he runs into a town. Plenty of action to keep you interested and it ends well. Check out the trailer:
