Hey all. Take Back the Night is a really awesome program put on by the Coalition for Women Students, which marches against violence. It's a great cause that a lot of people take part in, and it's a great way to show your support for those that have been affected, and as a way to demonstrate that we are not going to stand for violence anymore.

We have the power /
We have the right /
The streets are ours /
Take back the night.

Francesca White, one of the many involved with the event, had this to say:

"We usually have tons of fraternities and sororities come out to rally. Its October 13th 6-7pm starting on the Glenn-Terrell Mall Todd Steps. Everyone will get a free shirt to wear during the march and commemorate their participation. We'll have guest performances by Revolutionary Minds, Darcel Carter and Jacob Leon from Genevieve with a candle-light vigil at the end."
